Product Desription
Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 Series are synthetic compressor
lubricants made from synthesized hydrocarbon fluids. They
contain highly effective additives designed for severe air
compressor service. The products superior thermal and
oxidation stability enables them to provide a greater
temperature range of application with low coking tendency
or residue formation.
The Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 Series exceed the performance
requirements of DIN 51506 VDL standards for the
appropriate viscosity grades and they are approved by
Atlas Copco.

於 设 有 油 喷 冷 却 的 螺 杆 式 压 缩 机。 同
时， 本 油 亦 能 应 付 高 压 缩 温 度 （终 级）
的 要 求 及 不 容 易 引 起 积 碳 和 产 生 污
垢。 如 希 望 延 长 换 油 期 限，本 油 是 理 想
的 选 择， 因 它 具 有 优 越 的 效 能，即 使 用
於 某 些 容 易 导 致 氧 化 及 严 厉 操 作 之 空

全 混 和 使 用，但 换 油 时 应 用 本 油 将 系 统

走。
Application
Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 Oils are recommended for all
rotary vane and screw air compressors. Their superior
thermal and oxidation stability enables them to be
particularly effective in screw type compressors with oil
injection cooling. They are also suitable for compressors
with high final compression temperatures or in
compressors that have a tendency toward coke formation
and deposits. They are an excellent choice for compressors
where extended drain intervals are desired. Mobil Rarus
SHC 1020 Oils possess the performance ability to
overcome the severe oxidation process characteristic of
some compressor designs or in compressors operating
under extremely harsh service conditions.
These products are compatible with lacquers based on
epoxy resins or polyurethane and with sealing materials
normally found in compressors. Also, they are completely
miscible with conventional mineral oils. The
recommendation is to flush a mineral oil system with
Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 when an oil change is scheduled
since the synthetic oil will tend to detach deposits caused
by mineral oils.
